A3. The term “Moving Walkway Escalator” is actually a non-standard term. It typically refers to large-slope inclined moving walkways: when installed at a slope of 10° or 12°, it appears like a gentle staircase with a slope but without steps.

A4. To put it simply, the main difference between the two lies in the presence or absence of steps. An escalator functions like a moving staircase, with steps (ramps); an automatic walkway, on the other hand, is a flat or slightly inclined path that resembles a moving walkway and does not have steps.
